We mainly design, build and renovate private houses from 150 m² to 700 m². It takes us +1.5 years to build such a house. For example, a ”turnkey” apartment can be completed in 4-6 months.
At first I did like everyone else. I was a foreman, a supplier and a technical supervisor in one person. For each project, I hired a team of builders and contractors. It was cheaper and didn’t require fixed costs.
But then I was convinced that contractors most often fail, the deadlines are missed and the quality falls off. I was responsible for what I could not control. And then I decided that I was done with that.
Now I don't have random people in my company, I have a constant team of 70 people and our own technical equipment. Many employees have been working with me for more than 15 years, so they are not just workers, but a well-coordinated team of professionals.
